Having trouble with Mobile Check Deposit? Use these tips to make sure your deposit goes through.
- Close all other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
- Sign/Endorse the back of your check, and label it “For Deposit Only.”
- Carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on the check.
- Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking photos.
- Place the check on a solid, dark background before taking the photo.
- Avoid having too much of the area surrounding the check in the photo.
- Take the check photos in a well-lit area.
- Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking photos.
- Make sure the entire check image is visible and in focus before submitting.
- Make sure no shadows are across the check.
- Make sure all four corners are visible.
- Make sure the check is not blurry.
- Make sure the MICR line (numbers across the bottom of the check) is readable.
