- Immediate family or household member of a current DIFCU member
– Immediate family = spouse, (step)parent, (step)child, (step)sibling, grandparent, grandchild, or domestic partner

Important Information
- Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account or changes an existing account for a covered legal entity.
- DIFCU is required to ask for identifying information (name, address, date of birth, social security number and current government picture identification).
- A parent or guardian is required as a joint owner/applicant for members under the age of 18.
- A share/savings account funded with a $5.00 deposit is required and represents your share of ownership in Deepwater Industries Federal Credit Union. It will be held as your ownership share until the end of your membership.
